MACHINERY ALIGNMENT CHECKING
Maritime Engineering Ltd (CME) has special equipment for checking and precision leveling of mechanical equipment at installation and laser alignment instrumentation to assess coupling/shaft alignment amount of ‘out of plane’ or ‘out of straightness’ to .0001 inch. Our machine and fabrication shops can produce custom fitted bolts, keys, and adjustments. We supply pourable epoxy repair chocking for securing and mounting machinery.
TURBINE AND TURBO REPAIR SERVICES
CME has experience in overhauling turbine and reciprocating machinery. Providing on-site service, we offer full field inspection services for the dismantling and repair on many types of turbines used for industrial drives and shipboard applications. As with our turbine repair service, we provide on-site service including full field inspection services for the dismantling and mechanical repair of all makes of turbo chargers.
EQUIPMENT REPAIRS
Diesel engine repairs, parts rebuilding to OEM standards, Lloyds, ABS, DNV inspection. Millwright/mechanical services, pumps, compressors, turbines, fluid drives and gear reducers. Boiler, heat exchanger and process equipment repair.
PRECISION DYNAMIC BALANCING
CME uses the latest computer dynamic balancers to adjust for vibration free running. CME has two balancing test stands and instrumentation by Schenck, a leader in dynamic balance measurements. The larger unit has 20-ton capacity 8-foot diameter swing and 14 feet centers on main base and 28 foot centers on extended base. Small unit has 12-foot lead x 32” swing and sensors appropriate to lighter faster spin shaft rotors and impellers.

CME has extensive capabilities and experience in repairing, overhauling and servicing a wide range of mechanical equipment. Our integrated services provide you with a single source for high quality mechanical repairs, alignment and balancing, resulting in minimal down time and maximum operating reliability.
LASER MEASURING AND PRECISION ALIGNMENT
Our laser measuring equipment and years of experience enable us to perform laser measuring/precision shaft alignment, flatness/straightness, surface mapping/parallel alignment.
